Halloween in the Sacramento Mts.
After the snow storm that hit parts of Southern New Mexico this week, we had the desire to get into the mountains and enjoy the snow. We headed back up towards Cloudcroft, taking the Westside Rd. which runs along the edge of the Sacramento Mountains overlooking the Tularosa Basin. The road begins at High Rolls, before Cloudcroft, and comes out near the Sunspot Observatory. We then drove to Bluff Springs (again -that's like the third time we've been there) and ate lunch, then headed back to Cloudcroft and back down the mountain and across the desert to Las Cruces. We didn't take many pictures, Marie was just mainly taking pictures of the road as we drove. A lot of the snow had melted, but there were still some good batches of it here and there.

Lilly eating lunch. Her shoes were caked in mud so we took them off.
