I guess a silver lining in being currently unemployed is free time to spend in the outdoors. It's relatively inexpensive, beyond gas and food, so this past week we went camping several times. On Father's Day we left in the afternoon and headed up to the Stoddard Creek Area north of Spencer, Idaho. We spent two nights camping with my parents there. Then on Friday we headed up to Island Park and stayed at Big Springs Campground with my brother and his family. Saturday we drove from Henry's Lake to Monida, Montana via the Red Rock Road, which passed through the Red Rock Lakes National Wildlife Refuge in Montana.

After about 60 miles of dirt, we hopped back on I-15 and headed back to Idaho Falls.
Both trips were fun and it was great to spend time with family.
